CES Panel on Drones Adds to Regulation Debate

Drones can be used for lots of things besides military surveillance, as we showed you last year in a slideshow. There are many more of them available now for applications as wide-ranging as helping to clean up air pollution to little guys that follow you around with a camera for taking selfies.

This year's Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas showcased that variety and also made clear how well-designed many of them are. A panel at the show discussing upcoming Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) regulations for non-military drones brought out many of the issues that concern both industry and federal regulators.
