Pickens, Wind and Water

Engineers need to lead our society to solve the energy- economy-security problem. Most of our society, government and media don't know what the first and second laws of thermodynamics mean, or the difference between an energy carrier, like hydrogen and an energy source, like wind, solar, gas, oil, and coal. We need to save oil for lubricants, plastics, chemicals, and pharmaceuticals. We need to make lots of electricity with the sun and wind, build transmission infrastructure and have workable electric cars that can take us to work every day. My suggestions might create too many good jobs for scientists, engineers and technicians.

T-Bridge, T-Boone's is clean and efficient. Better than nuclear, IMO. What do we do with spent nuclear fuel rods?

To: John Dodge... All power generation has down sides. Look at the back up plan even T. Boone has to implement for his wind (is that really that clean or efficient - just how do start/stop a 5,000 mega watt power plant?) Nuclear is the best option; now you get over it.
