Surface-mounting package

The SMD-3 compact surface-mounting package is for power semiconductors in high-reliability space and military systems. The hermetically sealed package permits paralleling of components, such as rad-hard MOSFETs and Schottky diodes with current ratings of up to 75A, on copper-clad pc-boards in compact power-conversion systems. The packages measure 0.690 X 0.525 X 0.142 inch and offer junction-to-case thermal resistances.
