Calibrator
By Design News Staff -- Design News, October 5, 1998
The Pocket-Probe calibrator is a pyrometer and calibrator built into a single unit. This totally portable, hand-held instrument monitors temperatures up to 2,000F/C equivalent and checks other pyrometer's accuracy as well. Temperature values are dialed into Pocket-Probe, and via the cable supplied, a reference signal is sent to the instrument under check, allowing the user to visually see its accuracy. The Pocket-Probe has a built-in circuit to verify its own accuracy by the touch of a button.
