The EBM Series of brake motors is available in nine sizes, with horsepower ranges from 1/2 to 10, and with Power OFF brake torques from 6 to 55 ft-lb. When the power is OFF, the brake is OFF. Applications include machine tools, packaging machinery, conveyor systems, cranes, hoists, valves, and baggage handling equipment. The motors operate either vertically or horizontally without special adapter kits.
