Pop-Top(reg) Series True BGA Socket(TM) is for BGA socketing, emulation, repair/replacement, testing, and upgrade. Instead of soldering BGA devices directly to the pc-board, the BGA device is dropped directly onto mating contacts, and uses a pressure- retention clamp that slides onto the BGA assembly, ensuring a reliable and consistent connection. Features include a wide range of footprints and coplanarity less than 0.006 inch.
