Level sensor
By Design News Staff -- Design News, October 5, 1998
Model OLS-12 optical level sensor provides a rapid response to change of liquid level and a stable process control with no moving parts to grind or wear out. Designed for corrosive applications, the pfa-grade Teflon unit's bright green and red LEDs offer local indication for the presence or absence of liquids. This sensor incorporates an NPN open collector output signal. Current consumption is 35 mA dc maximum, and power supply is 10 to 28V dc. Leads are 22 gauge and 18 inches long with tinned ends.
