Idler-rollers
By Design News Staff -- Design News, October 5, 1998
CAM RUNNER(TM) idler-rollers are for applications unsuitable for metallic cam followers. The composite tread and bearing unit, sized for direct replacement of conventional cam followers, includes a threaded steel mounting stud. There are no internal rolling elements, no need for lubrication, and no seals to contain lubrication. The internal design eliminates the possibility of product or process contamination from lost lubricant, and with no needles, operating noise is reduced.
