Electric cylinder
By Design News Staff -- Design News, October 5, 1998
The ET Series electric cylinder provides high thrust and repeatability in a modular package. Available with the company's servo and step motor systems, the series can produce thrusts to 5,300 lb-ft and speeds to 62 inches/sec in standard strokes up to 59 inches. The cylinders are available with ball or acme lead screws and can be direct-driven or driven via timing belt to conserve space. For applications that require increased side-loading capability and minimum rod deflection, the series is available with a direct-mounted, twin-rod linear rod guide module.
