Face milling cutters
By Design News Staff -- Design News, June 22, 1998
R/L220.60 Series face mills are cassette-style cutters available in normal- and close-pitch body versions. Both versions use cassettes that accept inserts in two cutting lengths: 0.75 and 1.125 inch. Features include positive cutting geometry for lower power consumption, a lead angle that minimizes tool deflections, and the right combination of axial and radial rake angles to minimize vibration.
