Rod and sheet
By Design News Staff -- Design News, August 17, 1998
Pomalux(reg) LM laser-markable rod and sheet is made from a Ticona Celcon(reg) acetal copolymer resin and produces parts that can be inscribed with clear, consistent, and precise laser markings. A software-driven technology, laser marking provides a method for permanently inscribing patterns from bar codes and automatic serialization to company logos and complicated graphic elements. The combination of Pomalux LM and laser marking produces on-line marking cycles, indelibility, enhanced capability to inscribe in recessed or other difficult-to-access locations, and elimination of volatile compounds.
