- Maytag's Galesburg Refrigeration Products plant employs 2,400 people, with a payroll that totals more than $70 million a year.

- The plant covers more than 2.38 million sq ft (almost 55 acres) and contains more than 10 miles of conveyor lines.

- Brand names made in Galesburg include: Maytag, Admiral, Jenn-Air, and Magic Chef. The refrigerators come in nine different sizes, three colors, and a variety of models and feature levels.

- Appliances made at the facility find homes in more than 160 countries.
