The "Tecno" electronic pneumatic regulator is an advanced control device. At the heart of the device is a piezo-electric "pill," which can almost instantly limit airflow in response to change in an applied low-power voltage drive signal. The "pill" is a tiny electronic/pneumatic interface, and when the desired drive voltage or current is applied, a piezo electric element within the "pill" changes shape and regulates pneumatic pressure through an airway.
