Servomotor
By Design News Staff -- Design News, September 7, 1998
BMS-1210 Series high-performance, direct-drive frameless servomotor is for applications requiring high torque in a compact package. Originally applied in a smart munitions fin actuator system, the BMS-1210 uses a Hall-sensor ring assembly for commutation and eight rare-earth permanent magnets. The motor produces a peak torque of 228 oz-inches and a continuous torque rating of 70.14 oz-inches at stall. Windings are for 28V dc operation and are also available to accommodate other voltages.
