Solders
By Design News Staff -- Design News, October 5, 1998
SuperBraze(TM) silver-tin-titanium-based active solders are for directly wetting and bonding combinations of carbides, tool steels, and copper to attach inserts in aluminum and steel molds. The solder's lower joining temperature of 480 to 500F enables its use on aluminum molds and eliminates thermal distortion in steel molds processed with conventional braze alloys.
