Lubricants
By Design News Staff -- Design News, June 22, 1998
Micropoly(reg) lubricants are incorporated into machined parts requiring constant lubrication. Friction and heat cause release of lubricant. The lubricant is available in solid form and looks like a piece of plastic. Sliding friction applications include lubrication to a traversing screw using a spring-loaded applicator, steel mill slipper brasses, and forging/forming machine slides.
