PMAC-Pack(TM) packages a 4-axis PMAC-Lite as well as 5 and ±12V supplies in an industrial stand-alone configuration with simple interconnection. As standard, the PMAC-Pack provides four encoder inputs and 4 DAC outputs which may be used for control of up to four non-commutated axes, or two commutated axes. A 4-axis expansion box, the ACC 24 EXP, can be mounted alongside the PMAC-Pack to provide an 8-axis control capability including four additional encoder inputs and four additional DAC outputs. The PMAC-Pack features S-curve acceleration and deceleration and time-base control for electronic cam, web handling, and coil-winding applications.
