By Design News Staff -- Design News, August 17, 1998
The "LP-101'' CO2 laser marker system permanently marks materials including paper, wood, plastic, resins, ceramics, and glass on a 90 X 90-mm marking area. The LP-101 uses a class 4 CO(sub2) laser and has FDA approval in the U.S. The system includes a hand-held LCD touch panel with backlight display, laser head, and controller, and does not require water cooling; rather, it is fan-cooled.
