VE-315 is a vinyl ester bulk-molding compound for under-the-hood vehicle applications and is injection/compression-moldable. VE-315 features chemical resistance and can be molded into intricate shapes. The compound has a cure time of 45 seconds per 1/8 inch of the component section and a low processing temperature. Components made of the molding compound can withstand temperatures of 280-300F.
