SolidEdge Version 5.0 for Windows-based 3D modeling is powered by the Parasolid modeling kernel. More than 100 design capabilities, usability enhancements, and performance features are included. Features include large-assembly management tools to define and manipulate select sets, with performance enhancements through unloading of non-displayed selections. Additional functionality for the creation and manipulation of complex features using advanced lofting and construction surfaces is also included.
