The AMPSLIM(TM) 1.25-mm wire-to-board connector is for the Video Electronic Standard Assn. (VESA) flat-panel display interface (FPDI-2) standard. The AMPSLIM connector was chosen by VESA for the FPDI-2 Standard for the eight- and 20-position connectors for internal flat-panel interface to host pc-boards. This low-profile connector provides electrical and mechanical performance, and is targeted for use in equipment such as notebook PCs with LCD monitors and camcords.
