The MCF5307 integrated microprocessor is a member of the compact, variable-length RISC ColdFire product family, and the first incarnation of the Version Three core. The chip's clock-multiplied core boosts CPU performance to 70 MIPS at 90 MHz and maintains a low-frequency domain for on-chip peripherals and external interfaces that simplify the integration of on-chip functions, as well as lowers the device's power consumption.
