Inserts and tools

Tangless(reg) helical coil inserts and tools are available in metric versions. Inserts are used to provide permanent, strong, wear-resistant, stainless-steel screw threads in lightweight metals like aluminum. The inserts have no tangs to break off, retrieve, or lose. The bi-directional design eliminates orienting the insert before installation. Notches at both ends provide quick and non-destructive removal.
