Handwheel
By Design News Staff -- Design News, August 17, 1998
A15 handwheel features a solid "disc" construction that prevents injuries, as there are no spokes for fingers to get caught in. A self-retracting handle automatically folds in, preventing the handle from hitting the operator. When turning, the user pulls the handle 90 degrees away from the cavity of the wheel. When turning is completed, the user releases the handle, and it automatically snaps back into the cavity. The wheel can be outfitted with the self-retracting handle, or optional foldable fixed handle.
