Autodialers are for monitoring, reporting, and control applications ranging from a single point to a full multi-station, multi-point SCADA system. The autodialers operate over standard dial-up landline or wireless telephone networks, and can report to a central computer or call any standard phone, cellular phone, numeric or voice pager, or voice mail system. The autodialers also report by exception, so they do not need to be polled.
