Zurcon(reg) B+S U-cup features a single-acting, double-lip design that offers leakage control, reduced friction and stick-slip, and long wear. A precision-engineered interference fit is determined through finite element analysis. A compression preload at installation and radial contact forces under pressure ensure optimum sealability even in extremes of temperature and pressure. Applications include hydraulics and lubricated pneumatic cylinder ones.
