Polyimide foam insulation

Aero-mide(TM) polyimide foam insulation is available in a light density as low as 0.3 pcf. In addition, Aero-mide continues to be available at its original densities of 0.55 and 2 pcf. Aero-mide provides high thermal and acoustical performance in aerospace applications, and is for use in composites with fiberglass for insulating commercial and private aircraft. The insulation is used as a primary or secondary insulation in multiple aerospace applications.
