The MA4EX900L monolithic silicon Schottky-barrier diode double-balanced mixer is a 700- to 1,000-MHz mixer in die form. The mixer is fabricated with a heterolithic microwave integrated-circuit silicon/glass process to achieve low-loss passive elements. The mixer is glass-encapsulated, working best in high-volume wireless and cellular applications. The MA4EX900L can be used in frequency conversion, modulation, and demodulation for receivers and transmitters in both portable cellular and base station applications.
