SOLIMIDE SC-105 cushion foam is for the transportation seating foam industry. The foam is inherently fire-resistant and lower in weight than conventional materials. Application areas include seating systems for commercial aircraft, passenger rail, and high-speed ferries. In combination with standard seat dress coverings, a passing result was achieved in the stringent FAA seat cushion oil burner flammability test without using secondary fireblocking fabrics.
