Split Mode(TM) technology is for use on the FX Series fault-tolerant systems platforms. Split Mode enables the achievement of 99.999% reliability or a maximum of 5 min, 15 sec of planned downtime a year. High reliability levels are required in telecom central offices to support life-saving services like 911 and emergency calls to police, fire, and disaster recovery agencies.
