METAPHOR is micro-porous, air-permeable aluminum mold-making material that provides thermoformers with sharp, clear, and accurate part definition through even and rapid evacuation of air through the material. The problem of surface mark-off, caused by trapped air, is eliminated. Micro vents are an integral part of the mold surfaces. Design is not constrained by the need to develop complex pathways to route air away from the mold surfaces.
