Grivory GV stiff glass-reinforced, partially aromatic nylon for metal alloy replacement features a flexural modulus of 3 million psi and flexural strength of 55,000 psi. With a density of 1.57, Grivory GV offers low part weight, which is an important feature in airplanes. Parts in Grivory GV feature dimensional stability due to the specific aromatic structure, and are not sensitive to moisture. All Grivory GV grades are chemically resistant to skydrol, MEK, and jet fuel, and can be used in exterior airplane applications in replacement of metal or nylon 6.12 and 6.6.
